Wanted to post pics of this irl water color painting I did of a town I'm not great at architecture but I found it exhilarating trying to do some anyway. xD I love busy pictures like this ^^
Albeit the canvas was bought at a store and primed (I think?) and not intended for water color, it still worked fine imo! The paint was maybe not as flowy as water color usually is, I'm guessing it's because of the canvas.
I also wanted some pokémon in there so I slapped them in. There are about 19 if you count the Lugia weathervane, but some are plain murky shadows and debatable if they can even be recognized as pokemon. Oh well xDDD
I finished this in November 2024, canvas is A3-sized I'd say, yippee it's hanging on my living room wall for all visitors to seeee
10 points to anyone who can guess the pokémon in the tower window
Edit: Zero-Zivan guessed it! A weedle in a pointy princess hat, kudos to you Zerooo
Ooh this looks really impressive! Watercolor is really tricky if you're used to anything else to be honest.
Did you use white paint to make the reflection on the black roof tiles, or you only used black for everything?
