All was quiet as Team Dark made their way from Night Babylon back to Central City. Not a single mech was in sight. Perhaps Omega’s presence at Club Rouge the night before had temporarily deterred any others that remained nearby from attacking them.
Shadow had thought to ask Omega where all of The Doctor's ancient robots kept coming from if their creator was long gone. Sure, even in their time Eggman had constructed hundreds of robot production factories, and there was no doubt that at least a hundred more had been developed before he had died in their future. However, Silver talked of fighting mechs quite frequently, and, just as he always had, it was clear that this version of Omega spent the majority of his time destroying as many of the "lowly consumer models" as he possibly could. Not to mention that there had to be lots of other people who fought the robots as well.
