Back for good?

Hello everybody,long time no see. I'm back online, sort of. My free time is still quite limited -- I have a kid now, a PhD that I need to finally finish this year and after that a bit of a career change to organize, but I'm back. I've stopped doing creative work for several years. At one point, I decided that if it doesn't make money I can't really justify spending time on it, but I've wised up recently. Some things just need to be done to feed the soul, for no other reason other than if you don't do them, you're just half a person. I have now posted chapter 10 of Hope is the Thing with Feathers in full on Dokuga, here : http://www.dokuga.com/fanfiction/story/2447/10 .I also posted an abridged version on fanfiction.net, here: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5297921/10/Hope_is_the_Thing_with_Feathers . That one can't really stand alone though with all the important parts of the chapter gutted, so it links back to the Dokuga version as well for the full experience. :)

Sexxorz dilemma - where to post?

So, nearly done with the next chapter of "Hope is the Thing with Feathers" http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5297921/1/Hope_is_the_Thing_with_Feathers and I am currently wondering what do do with it after I polish it. In other words, I'm wondering how to handle the posting.Here's my problem in a nutshell: fanfiction.net only allows an M rating, which to my knowledge excludes explicit sex scenes (and this one turned out fairly explicit). On the other hand, if I just cut out the sex scene and leave the rest I'll have a chapter of about 800 words in which nothing much happens. The scene is important for character development; I can't see how I can ...
