These two young talents applied and got into a summer art school!
I'm really proud of them! I'm friends with both, but have grown closer to cowboyB0B over the time here on dA. She gave me the honour and privilege of being one of the ones to write her letters of recommendations for the school's application.

The Noise while Drinking TeaA barren broken landscape:
the tops of the trees swiped off.
my trees cut down.
now just shocking sticks stand
spearing the living ground.

The libraries are falling down
as the living ground shudders.
The bookcases topple
as a large scale domino line.
The books tumble down
crashing to the floor in flames from
spontaneous combustion.

Now stand back and ask yourself:
If one tree falls in a forest,
and no one is around to hear it,
will anyone hear the burning books?

Does happiness exist, can it be defined

I was inspired by my awesome and talented friend Cheryl ArtByCher and one of her many wonderful works of art: :thumb164640431: because she is selling it with the full proceeds being DONATED TO THE OIL SPILL CLEAN UP.

They are very informative AND they contain other works done by other artists, that are also connected to the oil spill in some way- some of them are also charitable.   So she's NOT just promoting her own work for the HELP of this crisis but she is promoting the work of others for the SAME CAUSE.

After all, we are all in this mess together.

I think it would be wonderful to the News Article to help spread this awareness and show what these artists are doing to promote awareness and donations via their artwork. I THINK THIS IS AWESOME!!!

I mean, for one thing, I'd heard about the saving and sending of hair at salons... but PET FUR!!! I am all about the pet fur!
I groom cats all the time when I do my volunteer jobs! Not to mention, my own menagerie right here at home!

Anyway... as usual, it's all about teamwork!
