The Biowars Creative Laboratory never sleeps. At least that's what you'd think based on how much artwork is churning out of it these days. The coolest part is how it's all scientifically accurate. Each character, whether it's a Natural Killer Cell, a healing fibroblast or a nomad bacteria - is designed with careful consideration of what it's supposed to be. Nerve cells and Natural Killer Cells consist of energy, so special attention was placed on choosing the right colors to give off an electric look. Our team has been feverishly working on finishing up concept art of the Biowars' main characters, and we started work on storyboards for the 1st issue!! It's been a rigorous but pretty fun process so far: each image is sent back and forth between artists and creator (who's identity remains a mystery...unless you feel like spooking around our website's Meet the Team page, which isn't quite ready yet.) All day, it's back and forth for tweaks and adjustments. EVERYTHING is informed by the science and biology that form the foundation of the Biowars story. TeamBiowars is excited to join the DeviantArt community....while we get ourselves acquainted with it, here's a lil bit about us: We're a new digital comic about the battle inside every one of us. Biowars is a juicy blend of science fiction, fantasy and the struggle between good v evil. Featuring villains like viruses and bacteria and heroes like B-Cell and Macrophage BioWarriors. Those who defend the host of our main character...and those who invade it. And even larger, more dangerous forces controlling the whole thing.
