Navigating to your Settings page used to feel like discovering a time-capsule of the past, so it's just gotten a well-deserved refresh!
The updated design now matches DeviantArt's look and feel with modern visuals and consistency, making navigation even more intuitive and, of course, keeping all your settings as previously specified.
From browsing preferences to notification controls, your new Settings page has everything you're used to, just a bit more aesthetically pleasing.
Going global: Say hola to DeviantArt in Spanish!
DeviantArt has always been a global community, shaped by artists worldwide. For years, deviants have asked for more ways to experience the platform in their native language.
Today, we’re introducing the first supported language: español, making it easier than ever for Spanish-speaking creators to explore and participate in the community. ¡Bienvenido!
How to switch your language
Navigate to your Profile dropdown in the top-right navigation bar.
Click Language.
Select your preferred language and click Confirm.

We’re excited to bring Spanish localization to many areas across DeviantArt. While not everything is translated just yet, more will be added over time. Note that user-submitted content, such as deviations or comments, will remain in their original language.

With Originals, you can take custom orders from the community and deliver them in one streamlined flow, submitting the finished work as a one-of-a-kind Exclusive the buyer owns.
To help you reach more buyers, there are now three more ways to promote your Originals across the site.
Originals in Deviants you Watch
You may have already seen Original offerings from other creators popping up in the Deviants you Watch feed, as this update recently rolled out. Appearing here can help more potential buyers discover your custom artwork will give your custom artwork more visibility, which can lead to more orders.
“Order My Originals” in the Carousel Gallery widget
You can now add an "Order My Originals" option to your Profile's the Carousel Gallery widget, giving visitors and fans a clearer path to discovering your work and ordering an Original of their own.

Scheduled Image and Video Upload Downtime: April 8
UPDATE: Maintenance is now complete! Your images and videos can be submitted as usual.
Perk up your feed with something energizing, inspired by your coffee haiku!
On April 8th starting at around 11:15PM Pacific, image and video uploads will be temporarily disabled for about 2-4 hours due to scheduled system maintenance.
This will affect all image and video actions across DeviantArt, including new uploads, editing existing deviations (such as replacing a file), uploading images to comments and Messages, saving drawings in DeviantArt Draw, as well as using DreamUp and Video Creator. Journals and literature submissions will remain available throughout.
We appreciate your patience and apologize for any interruption. Keep an eye out for more updates!
