Welcome to Miami: DevMeet Recap
On July 24th, DeviantArt touched down in Miami, and although Will Smith's backup singers didn't echo "Bienvenidos a Miami," we still felt a warm welcome. The Wynwood art scene was the perfect backdrop for a gathering of creative minds.
The set-up was at Libertino Cafe, a bright and airy spot that felt both vibrant and intimate at the same time. Coffee was flowing, pencils were sketching, and the company couldn't have been better. Shoutout to @4loorislava, @atopthispodium, @Bladeninja76, @MikaDigitalCo, @neonminun, @TaliusDesigns, and @tasting-ink for making the afternoon so special!
The "Stay Devious" hats made another appearance, although no one ever seems to need prompting to do what it recommends.
Our "Welcome, Deviants" sign greeted everyone at the door, letting even the most socially hesitant of indoor cats feel right at home. The sign even took off on its own adventure, living its best life, and welcoming deviants in its new home, wherever that may be…
