DeviantArt’s new browse mode uncovers art and artists more relevant to your interests, and gives more deviants a chance to shine.

We’re excited to announce a new way to browse deviations in Eclipse: Recommended for You. Based on your interests and how you interact with the site, Recommended for You personalizes your DeviantArt experience – allowing you to discover deviations and artists that are tailored to you.

Browse Art Based on Your Interests

DeviantArt is home to the most diverse art community on the Internet.  As such, it represents art that ranges from papercrafting to poetry.  With Recommended for You, your front page will showcase deviations that are tied to your personal tastes.

This personalized browsing experience is based on content that you’ve recently engaged with. Whether you love nature photography or can’t get enough Pokemon fan art, Recommended for You brings to light deviations based on your preferences, so your browsing experience will truly be unique to you.

On the other hand, if there’s a certain type of art or genre you don’t like and don’t interact with, you’ll begin to see less of it.  Instead, we’ll show such content to deviants who are interested in it, and will be more likely to favourite and comment.

Moving forward, Recommended for You will be the default mode for browsing in Eclipse.  However, all other browse modes – like Newest, Popular 24 Hours, Undiscovered, etc. – still exist and are just a click away.
