Deviation Actions
Your DeviantArt feed is as unique as you are, and to ensure you discover exactly the types of devious art you come across, you'll want to make sure your settings are tuned to your exact specifications.
In your settings, you'll find browsing, the area dedicated to defining what art you might want to see more of, and what you'd prefer hidden in your browsing experience.
Browse Settings
At the top of the page, you'll find a handful of controls that shape how you view and move through the site. Choose how deviations open (full screen or zoomed out), set your preferred thumbnail count per page, and decide whether to scroll infinitely or click through pages of results.
You can also turn on Invisible Browsing, which means you won't show up in other deviants' visitor widgets when you check out their profiles.
Core Members get a few extra options here, including more thumbnails per page.
Browsing Mode
Safe Mode keeps your feed largely free of sensitive content of any type, even ones that might not be labeled as mature content.
Standard sits in the middle of both worlds, showing you everything that's not tagged as Mature.
Mature Mode opens your browsing experience to content tagged as mature by its creators. Note: You'll need to be 18 or older to enable Mature Mode on your account.
Muted Tags
Remove specific content from your Browse and Search results by listing likely tags. Want to avoid spoilers for that finale you still haven't gotten to? Mute it! Tired of seeing that adorable electric pocket monster, for some reason? We may not agree, but you can mute that too! Add up to 100 tags at a time, and optionally unmute them anytime you'd like that content woven back into your feed.
AI Content
The AI Content setting gives you control over how much AI-assisted work appears in your feed. "Show AI" includes all content, including pieces identified as AI-assisted. "Suppress AI" reduces it.
A quick note on how it works: "Suppress AI" utilizes a system that identifies likely AI-assisted content based on multiple signals, without relying solely on creator-applied labels. That means it casts a wider net than self-reported tags alone. Some AI content may still appear, and occasionally a non-AI piece may be filtered.

Some deviants update their browsing settings frequently, crafting their feed to support their mood. Others set it once and forget it. No matter which category you belong to, your feed is yours to shape, and your settings are always there when you're ready to change it up.
