On July 16th, deviants gathered in Berlin for an evening that none of us wanted to end. (Literally, they had to drag us out of the beautiful event space!)

The setting alone set the tone: a 150-year-old blacksmith forge, alight with a gentle garden, wooden architecture, and an air of reverent history meets modern warmth. The space itself was tucked away like a creative hideout waiting to be discovered. And whenever a bunch of artists meet up, lots of art is sure to be created, and that's exactly what happened.

Before the event even started, the energy could be felt by everyone. Out in the garden, @mjdo-x took to the canvas on easels and created artwork that stopped people in their tracks.

Artists traveled from near and far, filling the space with great conversation, and making the night feel less like meeting for the first time and more like the natural offline extension of our vibrant community.

Host Lauren (@TheLaurenVerse ) and Peter (@pgorniak) kicked off the evening by welcoming the crowd in both English and German. Then CEO Moti Levy (@Wannabby ) shared his vision of where DeviantArt is headed and how the platform is expanding globally.

Lauren sat down with CRO Liat Karpel Gurwicz (@lollycavalier ) for a candid conversation about how to turn your art into real income on DA.

@Alicante-Design and Peter sat down for a conversation auf Deutsch that had the room completely captivated. Check out her recap!

Dan Leveille (@danlev)rounded out the evening with an in-depth look at the pro creator toolkit, covering everything from Subscriptions to Boosts to unveiling a sneak peek at something that's too new to even mention here!

After the presentations, we headed downstairs to descend upon the artistic materials provided to make some genuinely incredible pieces. Community art submissions lit up the screens and decorated the walls, turning the space into a gallery that felt truly ours. The DeviantArt-branded hats became an unexpected canvas, with fabric markers flying and everyone leaving with something one-of-a-kind and stories to live on in our hearts.

To everyone who came, traveled, drew, and stayed way too late: thank you for making DeviantArt feel as alive offline as it does online. We'll see you at the next one!
