Predator's Library(Sequel to Predator's Acquaintance)
Jack's stomach groaned as he walked down the side walk of a practically deserted Philadelphia during a overcast afternoon. He had checked several food stores since he awoke this morning; and he found his worst fears were coming true. He was running out of food.
He still had a few bottles of water, but he felt sluggish and his stomach continued to vindicate its empty status by groaning and rumbling.
"Scythia has food I bet" Jack mumbled. Scythia was the Predator that he had befriended four weeks earlier. He taught her how to read the English language; and, in exchange, Scythia would not skin him alive. A deal that Jack had little say in the confirmation of. Despite that, Jack found that Scythia was a decent companion once she began to trust him more. They both enjoyed reading, and they were actually almost done with A Tale of Two Cities. It took so long because Jack had to answer the many questions that Scythia asked. Her questions range
The Hunter and the Hunted part 4Kopelli could only watch from his spot only a few feet away in amazement by how well the hunter had fought the beast, given he had earned several injuries from his prior fight with him. Looking at the hunter as he held the reaper's head up he couldn't help but comment, "Dang you took him down like he was nothing "
The hunter made a low clicking sound and lowered the reaper's head before he turned back towards its decapitated corpse. Kopelli watched him look over the body for only a moment before he strode towards the creature's back, and Kopelli saw what he was after. He tensed as he pulled the dagger from the reapers' back and turned back towards him,
'Oh geeze!' Kopelli thought to himself as he now knew the alliance was over
He blinked as the hunter's wrist blades retracted and he held out his dagger to him. Kopelli just remained tense and looked at his blade warily did he risk taking up the blade?
After only a moment more, the hunter snorted in an agitated man
The Hunter and the Hunted part 2From his high vantage point atop the water tower, Jegeren seemed to laugh as his prey dodged both Plasma caster shots, and judging by how well he continued to move after the first shot, he evaded expertly and unscathed,
"Agile prey! How entertaining!" he laughed before he gave a roar and leapt off his perch atop the water tower, silent caution abandoned only a moment before he quickly resumed it and silently made his way over to where his prey had disappeared. But before he could make it to his destination, his modified hearing detected the racing heartbeat of his target some four buildings away. Now looking in the direction of his target, he once more made his way as quietly as possible over to where he was hiding.
Kopelli stood pressing his back firmly against the side of the building, sniffing the air that was now flowing in his favor, his heart racing from both the rush of adrenaline and the run as he had made it to his current spot in record time, "Sniper shot!" he ma
Predator contest, anyone?Okay! So, I've decided to hold my first real contest. It's real because................ IT HAS PRIZES!!!
You guys remember when I put out that ad for an illustrator, right? It was for that story I'm writing for class. This contest also applies to that story. I got bored in math class the other day and sketched up a concept of one of the story's major characters: the leader of the alien invasion. However, there were a few things missing, these being a color scheme, a name, and proper tribal-alien-leader attire. That's why I've left the drawing as a blank template (shown below). I thought it would be fun to ask for help from you guys!
Here's how the contest is going to work.
There will be three categories for entry: name, color scheme, and clothing. You may enter something for just one category, or more than one if you choose to do so.
There will be a 1st,
