Thanks for the fun times you guys!

Teahouse was one of those comics I went for if I needed to scream a little and have great laughs (the drama was cool too) and I really enjoyed it. It's a pitty you can't finish it, I'm sorry for me and the rest of the fans (and sorry for poor Axis too! SO CLOSE!) but specially because you came so close to finishing it! I know how hard comics are to make so is completely understandable and I'm glad we got to read that far.

I really wish you all the best and much sucess in your endeavors.

P.S: and let's look at the bright side, maybe some fans are going to go bananas and draw the scenes you upload hahaha.... I'm just messing with you, but hey, it can happen.

P.S2: OMG is going to be like reading a fic!

Best of luck to you ladies.

Once you've become a veteran animator or writer, let us hear from you again :)
I'm curious what the future will bring for you...

Be persistent, work hard, and you will make it in the art world.
You had to sacrifice your pet project for that (as I had to do, several years ago) but I can assure you it will be for the better.
You will grow as an artist, and you will work on far bigger projects.

Wish there would be one last pre-order for a printer chapter six or something before the end. I wanted that Rory x Reed scene.

Aw, this is a bummer. I always look forward to you ladies' awesome art. I wish you the best in your future endeavors, and look forward to the written form of the ends of the three pairings/groups.

Damn, now I'm really kicking myself for not getting Chapter 5 a couple days ago when it was still on Sharkrobot.

I'll miss the drop dead sexy gorgeous art but I can't wait to read the summaries for the characters. ^_^

EDIT: Even though the series is ending will the site be staying up?

I think they're giving in a little too soon. I just found Teahouse, literally back in Sept. I'm like CC - wanting to take my writing seriously. Okay, so, E is doing full-time animation, and CC is in school for writing (I'm assuming), why not just put Teahouse on hold until CC is done, 'then' finish writing the rest of Teahouse? E won't be animating 24-7, there will be breaks between projects. There's no point in just ending it, when Teahouse could be CC's crowning glory and would make it so she could write and publish anything she wanted. But whatever, you can't tell people how to run their lives.

Such a naive reaction. So many assumptions, such little knowledge.

I don't think these grown woman should have to justify their actions any further towards a younger and vastly younger and naive fan population. They both have a husband you left out of the picture. They are building up their lives. They should think of that first, and so they made a calculated decision.

Writing a yaoi comic is not going to help you any way in the real world of publication. It might sharpen your writing skills and art skills, but you can also achieve that by writing/drawing about different topics.

They are aiming to be more than just hobbyist. They want to become professionals, so this is the only way to go. I actually admire them for that. I admire for what they have achieved so far.

I've become a professional illustrator. And I can tell you that breaks inbetween projects are rare, and go towards my husband and children. Not on some dream project, there isn't any energy left for that. As an animator, illustrator or writer, you can easily spend weekends on projects as well. Sometimes there are months of working every single day. So when a break finally does come up, you owe it to your family to use it appropriately. You don't owe the internet world jack shit. CC and Emirain simply came to realize that.

Vastly younger?
Little do you know, I'm 27, work AND write. Okay, so I don't have a husband or children, so what? I still have a social life between work and writing.

I admit I don't know much on illustrating, just going by what my illustrating friends seem to go through. They seem to have breaks between projects.

I was just saying they seem to be giving up a little too soon. I mean... I've written roughly 10 novels in 10 years, and ALL of them are over 50k words. I search for agents and ways to self publish between working and constantly editing my finished novels IF i'm not actually writing one.

Pretty sure I'm hardly a 'hobbyist'. I'm just not published so, 'technically' I'm not a professional.
