It's been about a year since my last journal entry and my last submission to dA.
Due to what seems rampant and endless art theft, tracers, and websites profiting from "art they found online", I've decided to remove the majority of my work from dA.
I haven't been using this site much anyway and I haven't had a lot of time for pinups.
Here are some tips for folks who actually want to do the right thing. Consider this my last update:
- is the creator's name on the piece you've found? Is it legit theirs? Do a Google image search.
- did you find a website that sells items without anyone's name and the website blatantly refuses to list their c
Just wanted to pop in and say hi, I'm not dead, I'm still updating my new webcomic "I Like You" which, btw, turns 1 Year Old on the 16th! :V
Sorry if I'm kinda dead here - but you can find me at the link posted above.
I was going through my old stuff here and I found a lot of content I'm not pleased with anymore. Not because of how old it is but the context. Also I made a lot of shitty comments/replies on them. I'm sorry. I'm trying to be a better person but it sort of dredges up a lot of embarrassment. Sorry for saying shitty things to you nice people. You don't deserve it. You are great! I appreciate all your supp
Do you like my characters? Do you like dudes kissing? Do you like dudes kissing with flower crowns? Do you like free stickers? Do you like getting little things in the mail and adhering them to your property? Do you look forward to trying to explain your sticker choices to your friends?
Look no further! (<- Click here for a preview of the sticker)
To celebrate ‘I Like You’ reaching 100 readers (give or take a few bots) I am going to print some fancy little round stickers and send them to you FOR FREE! Email me at james2battleATgmailDOTcom with your address and I will mail these little goobers to your face!
You may have noticed a slump in my activity here and that is because I am eyeball-deep in comic work and posting it over on my Tumblr blog. The comic is coming along very well! At least I feel that it is because I'm still very passionate about it.
I will be celebrating 100 readers sooner than I thought (granted some of those followers have nothing posted so they are probably bots...?) but a huge wave of followers came from the LGBTWebcomics blog! Please go check out their selection of comics OR if you have your own queer/trans comic and want to get the word out shoot them a message.
I will be attending the Vermont Comic Conve
My new comic, 'I Like You', has been going very well. People seem to like it and it's breathed some fresh creative drive into my stagnant life (despite it being a spin-off and extremely trite).
I am not as active here as I have been over on Tumblr or Twitter, so I suggest you follow me there if you want to see more work or get insights for what's going on.
I hope you're all well!
