Developed out of a scribbley little thumbnail sketch, I wanted to push myself to capture a moment in what could be a grander story. As with lots of my pieces, I'm inspired by the ancient - Neolithic, Copper and of course the Bronze Age. I will be posting a screen captured video of this in the future, so keep your eye on my website for that! Hope you enjoy!

Please tell me it's just a coincidence that this particular ... beastie looks as thought it's waving "See you soon!" to Adam & Eve on the riverbank, because if something were that fearsome to look at and intelligent besides then one can only run away screaming in absolute terror!:flee:

Must be coincidence :)

I certainly HOPE its mere coincidence ... honestly, that thing looks fit for the Carboniferous (a geological era that might hold the all-time record for Creepiest Ecosystem and was indisputably the CRAWLIEST - all giant insects, obnoxiously large amphibians and reptiles with nary a mammal to reassure one with that certain family feeling or a bird to bless one with the song of a little messenger from Heaven).

One of the real delights of reading into Palaeontology is the feeling of exploring an Alien World without even having to leave your own planet!Nod
