Yep.
I like the way you prefer to have Mowgli in his original Feral state, as it adds more realism & symbolism that the creator intended. 
By symbolism, it means that his natural state matches en sync with his natural environment & further expresses him visually as a Human being as well as a ruler among Beasts.

Yep. And this is obviously before the scene when Bagheera had a stern talking to with Baloo about him being more responsible with raising the mancub.
That look on his face certainly says "We need to talk later."
