dA has finally forced us all to use Eclipse and, well, it sucks. I've had it for a while, but every time I turned it on, I found it made no sense, so I always turned it off. Now that option is gone, and despite something like two years of feedback, it still sucks. It's almost impossible to use and so many of the site's basic functions are just... gone. One of those functions is, apparently, the ability to access and review submissions to your groups. That's right, folks, I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to see this group's current submissions. Now, I assume that new submissions going forward will appear in my notifications feed, but any that are currently waiting on a reply? Nope. Sorry. So if you currently have a piece waiting and it expires -because I can't see it- please feel free to resubmit. Hopefully, I'll be able to see and review it.
Now, if only I could actually access my groups without having to load my own page and scroll down to the bottom... Because the super convenient links that usually appear at the top of the page? Gone. I mean, why would I want links to everything I do on this site conveniently placed at the top of every single page I go to, allowing me to easily navigate the entire site with a single click of the button? I mean, that would just be stupid.
Sisters of Rapture 5E Update (7/3/20)
I think they were more concerned about how the site LOOKS rather than how it works. Burying functions under layers of access isn't streamlining, it's the opposite of streamlining.
I'm still trying to figure things out, I really preferred the old one inbox was oversee-able pictograms of pictures werent taking up your entire screen. They really should just take on that old american saying, if it aint broke dont fix it.
