But Chaotica is similar to Apophysis?

Sorry, i dont understand the question.
Chaotica is a different software, with a whole different interface. But both Chaotica and Apo make IFS fractals. Not sure if this is what you mean.

I followed this tut and everything went well, until the end. How do you get the image OUT of chaotica? For some reason saving isn't working. Is that a beta bug? I feel like I am completely missing something stupidly simple.

in chaotica, you can save either parameters or image... So you click File (on top menu) and then "save Image".
There is also a save world option, it saves params =D

Hey! I tried your tutorial and I made this [link] ; it isn't much but I feel it's a good start on a new program and new style of flames for me.
Thanks for the info; it has helped me get a better handle on Chaotica. (=

Jajaja, it's weird when using it and I want to use it like Apophysis and then I have to think of a different way. One thing I do like is the changeable grid and snap-on grid :D

i kinda hate the fact the grids wont show properly on my comp... had to use an old 32bits one to make the ss for the tuto :faint:
