Dear Liquid Lovers!

It seems our only option is to switch to the Collections system

For that to take place and have everything running smoothly again, submissions to the club will be CLOSED as of right now (Sat. Oct. 25, 2008. 1:00PM EST). All notes received up to this point WILL be accepted. Until we open up the club again, kindly be patient with us as we have a huge backlog to convert first. All "Join" notes will be accepted but will be dealt with later. Any "Submission" notes will be deleted. A new journal will be posted to let everybody know when they can start submitting to the club again.

Before I get into more details about that let me first start by saying that I, have acquired 'manager' status for this club as my dear friend and sister cannot keep up with this club due to her Photography firm keeping her so busy. I am happy to report that she (Nina) is doing great and I am very happy and proud that she is finally doing something that she loves and that makes her happy! She asked me not long ago if I would be willing to help run the club in her place. I graciously accepted. However Nina will always have a place here at the TasteOfLiquid club, not only as the Founder but as honorary permanent Manager too. This means that while I am currently taking all club responsibilities as the new Manager, she, at any time, can jump back in and help run the club along side me

Speaking of helping running the club, I have also brought on board a dear friend Sarah, as an Admin to assist me running this club. Currently we are both working on converting this club to the "Collections" system. So please give a nice warm welcome and thank her for helping with this club!

Dear Liquid Lovers!

WHAT?? ... That's exactly what we say when we go to our message center and find over 90% of our messages are club-favs

We would like to request that EVERYBODY please remember that we are a club and we do NOT own all of these beautiful pictures nor do we claim them as being created by us. Each picture submitted to our gallery is the property of their respective owners/creators. Faving in the club gallery is not fair to the individual artists because they do not get the recognition that they deserve on their page.

Our club is simply a vehicle for displaying and showcasing the work of our wonderful members. Please give them the respect that they deserve by commenting and faving on THEIR original work and NOT here in the club's gallery!!! This has become an increasingly common problem despite the many warnings and notices we write (including directly UNDER each of the deviations in our gallery in the Artist's Comments... which leads us to believe most people do not even take the time to READ the Artist's Comments! )

Therefore, since this is a club we kindly request that you immediately un-fav the picture(s) from the club’s gallery that you have faved and then follow the link in the Artist's Comments section of the deviation to the artist’s original page and leave a comment and fav for them there.
