Oriental teapot by Tartango Oriental teapot by Tartango
I made this in grade 12 as a gift for my mom (who collects tiny teapots). The flowers turned out to be a painstaking task, but thankfully they didn't break off during firing. It's a fully functional clay piece covered in a green glaze. Makes about half a cup, hehe.

O.O wow. and the base shape of the pot is impressively symmetrical too. that's hard to do when you also have that lovely detail attached. would your mother be perhaps a collector of zisha teapots?

You did a beautiful job on this. Nice looking form and lid. I LOVE the handle and the way it curls around to the side. Totally fabulous.

I adore the way the smooth teapot merges with knobbly branch-handle, it's simply lovely. Great work!

I'm not sure of the exact dimensions. I would guess from spout to handle about 5 inches, from bottom to top about 3. About 4 inches wide. Just a rudimentary estimate. Thanks though!
