Description
Nicolas Flamel
"Below, in a shadowy clearing, stood Snape, but he wasn't alone. Quirrell was there, too."
So this scene (or I guess the one before it) has always niggled at me. It bugged me that Harry was taking his broom to the broomshed - why would he use a broomshed? I mean, he never does in any of the other books. I was thinking about this as I was painting and then I had a thought! Maybe, the reason he had to keep it in the broomshed is because first years aren't allowed broomsticks; That's the reason the school had to get him his Nimbus in the first place, because by buying one himself he'd be breaking the school rule. And I suppose keeping it in his dormitory would be stretching the no brooms rule a bit too far. Plus it wouldn't be fair to the other first years if he was allowed to have it whenever he wanted it. whether this is the case or not, it's settled the problem that always comes up when I read this chapter. I can't stand loop holes!
