micro-update; 150 Members!, Breeding opening soon!,
Welcome to all our new friends! We hope you have a great time developing your characters!
With the Tarkee group breaching 150 members, the 150 Member Raffle will be closing very soon! This will be open until around this time tomorrow (~24 hours from now) just to let any last-minute entries through. So if you haven't had the chance to join and want to, do so!
The 200 member raffle is still open and accepting people to enter and will continue to do so until we reach 200+ members
Breeding Season opening soon
Reminder that Breeding Season will open next week on the 1st of June. Get your breeding plans ready if you plan on submitting then!
Also as a mini reminder, see the previous update for Seasonal Breeding Limits They've been increased as it was too hard to track otherwise!
Instead of Females once and Males twice per SEASON, it's been opened to Females once and Males twice per MONTH (3 and 6 breedings per season, respectively). This mechanic is still in the works and may be tweaked again in future
Keep hydrated, and get some rest! Rest is so important!
Personal Update: For those interested, ClarityWind is due to birth almost any day now! Baby is due in 3 weeks! Larger updates and implementations will be slow around this time and I hope you all understand as to why! All core things will be kept running including Activity Rolls, Trips, Breeding, Levelling, Adoptions, etc. So don't let that stop you!
We're close to re-opening The Pit, finally. But unfortunately Abilities are still not polished. We may end up with a half-finished system for this, or a major simplification as it's getting overly complicated for my poor, pregnant brain.

Breeding Closed and micro update, Clans, In-the-works
Breeding Season has now closed for a couple of months. The next season is June -> July, so plenty of time to get your Tributes in the works for next time!
As a micro-reminder, Starters/Ancestors are NOT affected by Breeding Seasons. If you have 2 starter slots, they can breed out of season - any time. And never require Tribute! ALL the bonuses!
Also also, Giant Hares are not affected by seasons at all and can breed anytime.
As a small update to the Seasons, previously females could breed once and males breed twice per season. This has caught me up a few times and I forget to check - so it's been increased to once per month for females, and twice for males.
It's been a while, but Clans have finally been implemented in the group! Have a group of Tark'ee with another person, or a group of people, and want to build it up together and get sweet prizes for it? Then maybe try out Clans!
Keep in mind there is a Silver 'start up cost' associated.
There's 3 journals associated with Clans so far - feel free to check them out!
Abilities - those who have been with us since the beginning are probably tired of me going on and on about abilities. Whelp - too bad. We're making great progress! This project is much more extensive than initially thought and so is taking time. But the basics are there! And with that, The Pit will open when we have them all implemented properly - featuring a group-wide event! Yay!
Want to start planning where you'll go with your Abilities?
Physical Abilities are based mostly on the Physical stats (Strength, Defence, Dexterity)
However there are Elemental Abilities! This will be based on the Intelligence stat heavily! So throw stats to Intelligence if you want some magical abilities!
As a lore note (which has function in the group), Rock Tark'ee are, in general, not good with Elemental Abilities due to the Rock Father not having a connection to the Ethereal Plain.
Elemental Abilities include (possibly to be re-named)
- Fire, Wind, Water, Nature, Electricity, Earth, Wind.
- Life and Death (constructive and destructive)
Some of you, very few, would already hold a Deity Blessing. These were given out as a reward early on for extraordinary participation in group events. However it was always intended as something to achieve later on. Every Tark'ee has a chance to obtain a Blessing from their Deity.
Originally, each could only get a Blessing from their 'natural' Deity (eg, Wave Tark'ee getting Blessed by the Wave Father) - however, in the spirit of personal character development and uniqueness, every Tark'ee may earn a Blessing from ANY Deity!
The current Blessings in peoples Vaults are not bound.
All future Blessings will be bound to a specific Tark'ee and is not transferable. The Guides for these Blessings are SO CLOSE to being finished! They're just being fine-tuned.
As a heads up - appealing to the Deities will require a Tark'ee to be Level 10, and complete prompts. These prompts will NOT count for XP (to prevent abuse) and give some sweet-as-heck unique rewards to the Blessed Tark'ee!
Keen to be Blessed by a Deity? Start working towards that 10th Level!
