Midnight against the shadow

By
My first major digital piece I did in 2003 piece I did with photoshop 3.5 the standardd brush with wet turned on. The good ole days, I was very cheap to upgrade to the other versions of PS I really just wanted to get my monies worth.

This is a fantastic piece and worthy to stand amongst the great old school fantasy artists like Elmore, Parkinson and Easley. The Elf is particularly cool. I love his stance: it just seems alien (as the Elves would be).

wow... those are really detailed... um... details.
I would like to ask how turing on the wet in the brushes pallete helps in digital paiting.. I would very much like to know. and it would help me so much

I dont use the wet function anymore but did in photoshop 3.5 because I dont there was any pen pressure at the time, so I was able to create a more natural brush this way then the solid ones.

Hope that helps.
