Well this was definitely the most awkward of the three to merge together. (Not sure if I like or hate this one yet.) fusing large head-small tailed animal with large tail-small headed animal and not have it look like a pure cut and past jigsaw of the 2. (OR have it look like a juvenile by turning both those extreme proportions into medium sized ones)
In the end I setteled on a theme of designing the beast to be a bull of sorts, more nimble looking for spinning around and clobbering foe with it’s tail or throwing them in the air with it’s horns in a charge and equipping it with an unreasonable temper.
(Another thing i’ll be going back to is the study sketches with these little design sheets. Helps flesh them out more. Sooooo you can also expect a v2 for the spino raptor as well after the next addition to the series)
Drawn in Procreate Stegoceratops- Jurassic world: evolution
What we wanted: more imaginateve hybrids like Indominus Rex or the Chaos Effect hybrids What we were promised: Stegosaurus crossed with Triceratops What we got: Nasutoceratops with Stegosaurus plates What this is: Stegosaurus and Triceratops perfectly blended together and enhanced a bit
If I had money and you didn't presumably already have a job, I'd hire you.
What about a torosaurus and kentrosaurus hybrid. It almost a stegoceratops but it a different design and two similar dinosaurs but the kentrosaurus has plates then spike all the way down and a spike on the each shoulder
I absolutely love it. It takes both dinosaurs and combines them wonderfully. Makes the new dinosaur look pretty natural. I enjoy the fact that it looks very streamlined, like it was made to charge at top speeds. Would absolutely have loved to see this version in my park.
