I harbored my feelings for so, so long
And as I held them close to my heart she was always there
Smiling at me, comforting me, holding me and telling me "It'll be okay"
And so finally I offered her my feeling
The little gem I had been nurturing so deep inside, I offered it to her
And she patted me on the head, and she told me "That's nice"
But I did not let my feeling shatter, because I knew them to be true
And I stayed strong, and I was strong
So time went on as time often does
And as she smiled at me I smiled back at her, and as her heart broke I told her "It'll be okay"
When the time came again I offered her my feelings once more
And it was no longer a little gem, it was a large jewel fit for the queen that she was
She looked at it, at first amazed
And she patted me on my hand, and she told me "How cute"
Time went on, our worlds grew apart
And my jewel of love grew to cold and stone
But one day fate seemed to smile on me, for there was my queen
And I knelt before her as any good kni
