Though the Murggle family does not have any species that could be defined as "common" or a template, the Mighty Murggle usually fits the public's perception of a typical Murggle. They are almost like alien pandas. They live in the edges of what once Toci1's mountain chains, have a diet that consists 99% of a peculiar plant and have few predators. If a Mighty Murggle family senses a predator approaching, they will use their amazing strenght to knock down a tree, hopefully scaring them off.
With a noticeable amount of saggy loose skin hanging near the Mighty Murggle's pelvic area, one would think these animals are sluggish and helpless. But if a persistant predator can get past a Mighty Murggle's claw swings, the 2 meter tall creature will litteraly leap out of its dead skin, leaving it behind as bait for the predator, and escape. The Mighty Murggle is not pot-bellied at all; the saggy skin actually hides a rather muscular but slender organism. The epidermis actually hides the animal's vestigial fourth finger and toe.
During the hottest summer months, one may notice Mighty Murggles actually shaving off parts of their "coat" in an attempt to cool down.
Mighty Murggles have been made popular thanks to their large bubbly eyes and "rock star" like hair.
