The last moments of an adult Barrel Cow who was eating a Cactus like plant.
The Spine Serpent, the longest known ocean predator anywhere, reaching 35 metres in length. Although they are fully armored, they can swifty travel underwater thanks to make joints along their body. They have teeth similar in shape to those of a Dunkleosteus. These teeth constantly grow so that they can always bite through the tough armor of their prey. Spine Serpents usually feed on aquatic sea shell like organisms, but this female needed an instant supply of food before curling at the bottom of the ocean to protect its eggs stored in its mouths for months, eating nothing at all. The tip of its tail hosts a large fin tail.
Barrel Cows are solitary herbivores that travel the desert in search of vegetation. They have nutcracker like mouths that can resit thorns and crush plants. Truth is though, like most animals on Eve, its real mouth is within its chest cavity. It appears as a worm like appendage that sucks up the flesh seperated from any armor, its this case, the plant from its thorns or shell. The remains are regorgitated, along with their digestive wastes, hinting that most animals on Eve evolved from shellfish like creatures. The chest cavity secrets an enzyme that prevents infections, although some herbivores are known to eat those wastes like deers and rabbits on Earth.[link]
