Getting To Know You: Community Volunteer EditionCommunity WeekIf you've seen any interviews with Community Volunteers, you've probably witnessed these lovely humans answering questions relating to their favourite thing about DA, what inspires their art and what made them want to join the Community Relations team. Back to regular deviant lifeHello, lovely people I'm scheduling this journal in advance because I'm having feelings and it's easier to write it now and have it post on the right day than to sit down and write it at the time. When this shows up in your message centre, the heart next to my name will have changed (or will soon be changing) to a medal and I'll be a senior member again instead of a Community Volunteer I joined DeviantArt 14 years ago and my first term as a Community Volunteer (except I think we were Gallery Directors or Gallery Moderators back then?) was in 2008. I did the volunteering thing a lot, for a long time, and my latest term was 2015-2019 (phew!), so I'm stepping down and reclaiming some time in my day and some space in my head I'm truly honoured to have had the op
