Sunset and Snow by TanyaSimoneSimpson Sunset and Snow by TanyaSimoneSimpson

We have snow! After weeks of envying other people’s gorgeous snow pictures online, the white stuff finally arrived in Edinburgh. Or at least on the higher up parts of Edinburgh. Braid Hills is only a couple of miles from home so we headed up there this afternoon for a crunch around.

I didn’t fancy trying to keep myself upright while carrying my big camera, so I took some photos with my phone. Our timing was perfect – we arrived just as the sun was setting and everything was extra beautiful.

I'm still so impressed with the camera on my Note 4. The phone is getting a bit old and battered now so I'm considering replacing it this year but I'm really fussy about mobile cameras :D

It doesn't create "old", "battered" pictures though. :)

Take your time. And maybe hold on to your old one when you get your new one.

It was absolutely gorgeous. Trying a get a photo without other people in it took a while though - there were loads of people there, sledging, walking their dogs and stuff :)

I guess it was gorgeous... you could look at it all around :)

You weren't wearing your magical onesie and boots to keep people away ?

Haha! No, I had actual real-person clothes on so no-one got to experience the excitement of my onesie :D

Cold fella (Reactions) It looks cold. The temps have dropped like crazy but we haven't had any real good snowfalls yet. I like the sky in this shot is such a pretty color.

It's about zero today but apparently we're due more minus temperatures later in the week. I love it :D

Brrrr..These Cold..Onion WOW I can't imagine how that must feel, But how do you keep warm? it looks like it is cold all over the states. I love the cold myself but the last few winters have been really mild so it is abut time we get some normal temps. I am seriously waiting for the snow

I'm a weirdo who doesn't really feel the cold. Growing up in Ireland and then moving to Scotland, it's handy not to mind chilly temps :D
