Hayashi Tenma Citycab by TankaaKumawani Hayashi Tenma Citycab by TankaaKumawani
Ah, Sylvania, glittering gem of the Inland Seas region.  Just as rainy as it always is.  At least the cabs stop for reptiles there.

Automated cabs became unpopular in some areas due to widespread tampering, thus the manually operated medallion taxi is still an institution. (I forgot to draw in the medallion, this will be rectified in later appearances.)  The Hayashi Tenma stepvan is a popular taxi platform, given its low floor, sliding doors, and the modified delivery van body that proved well-suited for hire services due to the added protection afforded the driver.  There are more heavily modified versions of this vehicle that ply the  the Barrens (usuallyrather bombed-out mid-ring and exurban areas.  Think North Randall or East Cleveland.)

It's the offspring of a GM U Platform and a Ford Transit Connect, with a bit of Syd Mead (or Orion II) thrown in for good measure.  As expected, it supports both the J1772 and CHAdeMO connectors.

"Good sir, your hummingbird hackney services are once again required.  I must reach the aetherdrome post-haste!"
"Read the sign, chummer:  No. Steam. Punks."
