Road Trippin'

Road Trippin'

Holy cow am I exhausted. I just finished my North Carolina road trip and have some photos to finish over the next few days. Last week, I drove from western Kentucky, to Corolla, North Carolina to photograph the wild ponies. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who can go. I had a blast driving my big ass truck up and down the beach chasing waves and winged rats. I also got to spend time with friends and animals that I haven't seen in years. The storms altered what little plans we had and a maternity photoshoot shifted into holiday black backgrounds for one of the friend's horses. Being the queen of spontaneous decisions that I am, I stopped in Gatlinbug (by the way, it's very crowded this time of year - I forgot that the changing of leaves is a big deal to people lol) to pick up a birthday gift for the husband on the way back west. Pro tip - stop by Sugarlands for a moonshine tasting. They have some super delicious flavors and the husband got
I have to say, my favorite monster is the shape-shifter. There are so many possibilities that come with the ability to change shape.

The Heart Horse Project and Shenanigans

The Heart Horse Project and Shenanigans

I have launched my Heart Horse Project in memory of my very first heart horse, Brocca. The second anniversary of his death was last week and that droopy-lipped grumpy old man was heavy on my mind. I'm on the search for other equestrians with a horse that has claimed their hearts. Currently, I'm focusing on equestrians in the western Kentucky/Tennessee area. I will be traveling to North Carolina on a date to be determined in November and Florida in the middle of December hint hint. I already have a few amazing applications in and I can't wait to share these stories of love and positivity that's so needed in these crazy times. If you know of any qualified equestrians, please check out and share my questionnaire located here. I have another project in the works that I will be announcing probably this weekend. =D --- I've been hard at work at Equine Assisted Transitions getting horses ready for our fall riders and helping the owner create a 3 acre trail obstacle
