I love that photo, had a 350D (very good workhorse!!!) and since two days I have the Tamron 90mm macro too
How do you focus? I know that it is harder with the 350D than with 50D/60D. Just testing the live view on the 60D.

My tamron 90 has a little front focus, so I always use the manual focus. The main thing is the light, distribution of sharpness and composition, pay attention to this
OK thank you, in the meanwhile I am getting used with my flash because it is more easier
