Bueno, recorté la imagen porque no quiero asustarlos con mis manos atacadas por el frío (la que se ve está "bien" pero la otra está fatal)

I had to cut the picture because my other hand is HORRIBLE by cold ;_;

Hi !

I know it's a weird question but : Did you take this photo in Le Havre (France) ?
Again, it's weird but : even there is roughly no background to see, what I see behind you is exactly similar to my child room. Even painting defect around the window.

(And congratulation for your amazing work by the way)

Says the guy whose entire account is made up of nothing but stolen artwork. And no, you photo shopping the stolen artwork, then citing where you stole it from doesn't make it any the less stolen. You are aware using other peoples work is against the terms of service & will result in the permanent suspension of your account.

LOL that's STILL not a rebuttal & the images in your account are STILL stolen. Eventually the mods will go through the new set of reports sent to them through the help desk at which point the images will be removed & your account will be closed down. I'd take down the stolen images before it gets to that point if I were you.

No I'm just informing everyone that you are an art thief, now everyone knows. And when you inevitably get your account suspended, you'll know why it was suspended.

The stolen images are actually proof that this person has an interest in actual art and not thot garbage like this. Perhaps Suud didn't offer a rebuttal because your argument was moot in the first place.

"The stolen images are actually proof that this person has an interest in actual art and not thot garbage like this."

LOL no. It's proof only of the fact he stole someone else's artwork & then uploaded it, which is not only a breach of copyright, but also against the terms of service.

And you are done: I'm not interested in arguing with your sock puppet account mate & most certainly not interested in arguing with a sock puppet account you created specifically for the purpose of trolling. Yeah I took a second to look at your accounts comment history, you go from argument to argument, you pick the opposite side of the argument & argue simply for the sake of arguing & so you are just done here.

Now if you would like to log out of your sock puppet account & log in with your real account, to have a real discussion on the topic you go right ahead, but I have no interest in justifying your behaviour of trolling with a sock puppet account.

I understand that someone took this picture and wanted to publish, that's OK and I don't criticize him or her.

What I criticize is attempt to explain why this is art in the comments :) And usualy when poor photo is featured somewhere, there are people who say "see? it is art! because so many people discuss it!", this is just extremely pathetic way of thinking.

Because you and people like you are viewing and commenting on it.
Activity-based algorithm. It's simple, really.

You should try just not clicking on stuff you don't like, like normal people do.

Perhaps you should stop defending poor snapshots like normal people do...

By the way, I'm assuming there needs to be quite a bit of activity to get on the front page. And after it gets there, people are interested to know what it's doing there.

I'm not defending anything. At most, I'm defending anyone's right to post whatever they deem art, but that's about the extent of it.

Ah, you should assume less and actually look at the metrics. Going by what I've seen, anythign upwards of 600 views per day seems to bump something up to the what's hot page.
That is, of course, just going by views, I suppose comments will also factor into it.

So it doesn't even take all that much, really. And yeah, sure, many moral crusaders will make their little pilgrimage and try to beat it down because they don't like what they see, but of course that will increase it's popularity.
That's why I say "Don't like it? Don't look at it."
I don't look at stuff I don't enjoy either, and I have a really hard time understanding why some people feel the need to do so anyway.

Bottom line is ... it's an algorithm. It doesn't judge and it isn't biased. And that's the way it needs to stay.

That still doesn't explain why people would suddenly start looking at something 600 times per day. I don't mind these works personally though.

That is the only reason I can think of. And that being said, people have all the right to be pissed and to question these works being on the front page! They shouldn't, really.  Again, I don't have an issue personally but I am not everyone.

He's not defending anything in this reply, he's pointing out correctly how Activity-based algorithms work: to which your reply is not in any way a rebuttal.

Now go back & try again.

Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up aSPECIALROOM to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died.
Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death.

Now send this to ten other pictures on this one site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently, if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes u will have the best day of ur life tomorrow. u will either get kissed or asked out, if u break this chain u will see a little dead girl in your room tonight. in 53 mins someone will say i love you or im SORRY

Wasn't put back up. It ended up on What's hot for some reason because a lot of people viewed it lately.
Which drew the whole cavalcade of moral crusaders who come and complain that this shouldn't be there.
Which in turn generated more views and comments and thus activity for the piece.
Which in turn means the algorithm keeps it on the front page because apparently it gets a lot of views.

It's really fun how they don't realize that they themselves are the cause of their own outrage.

So what? An activity-based algorithm doesn't care when something was released, and frankly, I don't think it should matter.
Just because something is old, that doesn't mean it's necessarily bad, does it?

Listen to the pretentious fools shouting "this isn't art!"  They, of course, know what "art" is.  They've paid good money to see an un-made bed, and a few neatly stacked layers of house bricks.
