The convention season is about to start up for me. I haven't attended any of the big shows in about two years due to having small children and a family that hates to see me leave. But this year I have several Texas conventions lined up so far. At this time, I am slated to be at: Dallas Comic and Pop Expo, March 1 - 2 Leocon, March 29th Dallas Comic Con, May 16 - 18 Comicpalooza, May 23 - 26 Still waiting to hear back from a couple of others. I'll post those as soon as I receive confirmation. Meanwhile, besides comic book projects, I am working like mad on a new series of prints featuring my digital paintings. These will be available at all

New Direction

0 min read
I have been doing comics and illustrations for many years now. I have also painted murals, created logos, done sign work, paintings for private clients, and even backdrops for photography studios. All of it has been 2-dimensional. Well, I have always loved sculpture and even though I really enjoy doing illustration work, I want to do something new. So I have decided to expand my art resume and start a new line of sculptures. I love quirky, whimsical, detailed fantasy stuff and it will be nice to do something creative without having to deal with editorial requirements and job specifics. I am still doing illustration but the sculptures will be

Hi, I am looking to get a piece commissioned. The piece I have in mine, it's in my head and I can't draw at all! I see James Howlett/Logan/Wolverine in a clearing in a forest. He has his bomber jacket on, he is smiling down at a little girl with curly blonde  hair. He is twirling her around on his finger, making her dress blow in the breeze, and she is smiling like crazy with love in her eyes.

I want this piece in memory of my dad, who passed away last month. I always saw him as my Wolverine. He was a bad ass, didn't take shit from anyone, never really liked the crowd, funny in a mean, sarcastic way, but sweet when he wanted to be. He was a good father, husband, friend, and Papa, and I miss him so, so much. He is forever my Wolverine, and I'm forever his little girl.

If you could email me if you do commissioned work, I would really appreciate it.

Sort of like this, but not this shitty!
Hi! Thanks for the message. So sorry to hear about your father. My deepest condolences. Yes, I do commissions and would be happy to do this for you. For something like this, I charge $80 for black and white or $125 for color. I can do it digitally and send you a digital file or I can do it traditionally with pen and ink or watercolors and copic markers and mail you the original art. You can email me at brian_brinlee@yahoo.com
Thanks!
I love your drawings! keep up the good work!:)
Wonderful work!
