About Crystal Forest Riding Academy Crystal Forest Riding Academy is a private academy located in Southbury, Connecticut. It is a prestigious academy, accepting only 15% of all students who apply. CFRA is an English riding facility, with no western horses. They have a large focus in Eventing and a smaller program for Racing. Outside of physical riding and training, the school offers in depth courses in Stable Management, Breeding and Genetics, and Vetrinary for large animals.
