Evacuation! CloudClan Assignment Due Dec 10th

The CloudClan camp is experiencing collapse… literally! The hill above the camp that is usually used for apprentice climbing training has taken a bit more punishment than it could handle. That, the overly dry conditions, and mountains rumbling has caused the dried out roots that were holding it together to break, a large rock fall has collapsed most of the camp wall and the dens look like they are going next! CloudClan is in chaos. Many cats have run from the camp without much thought except get out. For this assignment draw/write your cat either escaping from the camp or trying to help other cats get out without getting hurt! Does your cat panic and flee? Look for friends and family? Get caught in the chaos and sustain an injury? (in this case note the group with what kind of injury you want) Help others escape the rubble? Freeze in place until someone knocks them out of it? There are places deep within Gaiaxia where light has never touched. Where the air is heavy with moisture and the silence is broken only by the flow of underground rivers pushing through the dark. These caverns feel ancient in a way the surface rarely achieves; eons may pass, yet this limbo can remain largely unchanged. It is in this lightless realm that the White Dragons make their home, and the dark welcomes them where little else wishes to remain. Calling them Dragons is technically accurate, though most of their kin would scoff at the notion. White Dragons are all but scaleless and ghostly pale, their skin has lost nearly all pigmentation and is smooth and leathery like that of a cave salamander. They have no eyes, only shallow indentations where sight once blessed their kind; though calling them blind would be a dangerous misunderstanding. Shade had heard some strange sounds with her over long ears and it hadn’t been too difficult for Cho to talk Mage into joining them to go investigate. Today’s designated watchers of the foals has their hooves full with an argument between some of the older foals, though really most of them were almost grown as it was so calling them foals felt a little wrong. But if the rumors were to be believed, the trio of younger foals soon wouldn’t be the youngest in the herd. All three of them were excited for that. More playmates sounded like a wonderful idea. Haul’s library was a quiet place, tucked away on a side street in Vitalis’ Silver Province. He kept some of the area warm with the help of warming stones, while the bookshelves themselves remained at the perfect temperature needed to keep books in top condition. The place looked small on the outside, so Haul didn’t get as many visitors as he’d have liked. Inside though, was an elaborate maze of bookshelves and places to sit, some soft and some hard, all depending on where one would want to sit. There was even an area for children to stay, perfect for when a parent wants to read but their child needs to be distracted. Hanai shook his head to get the water out of his eyes as a misting rain fell across the plains. His herd was still on the search for a safe place to call home, but with the weather taking a turn he decided that they should wait it out until the rain had passed. Everyone huddled together, the adults using their bodies as shelters for the youngest members of the herd, trying their best to keep the young foals as dry and warm as possible.
