AN AMERICAN TAIL: FIEVEL GOES WEST – SCREENPLAY REVISION NOTE: The following screenplay sections are for the scenes that are to be re-dubbed and/or extended. The holding pens were absolute chaos. A trio of wide eyed bachelors charged rampantly through the chutes connecting the makeshift pens, shying away from Bramble’s pinned ears as they ran past his pen. The wild bay bachelor balked, sending his two leopard friends skidding through the dusty footing and causing their brightly colored sabino friend to stumble. Alecto barked out an order at them to keep moving. Alecto and Bramble had been fortunate enough to warrant a private pen, allowing Bramble to heal without too much interference. Most of the wild eyed mustangs roaming through the larger, and more crowded, holding pens had no such luck. Every so often the humans culled some of them and allowed them to go free. Just yesterday a respectable band stallion, Medieval, and his herd had been allowed to go. Alecto hoped he and Bramble would be next. From their vantage point in the small pen they could see that the wildfires were slowly starting to die out, the valley coated in cool white

The weather in Cottonwood Valley had been strange as of late. One moment it would be sunshine and rainbows only for the next to be torrential downpours. The influx of strange weather had brought on a series of floods, causing the once grassy meadows to become a swampy mess. Many of the herds within the valley chose to travel to higher elevations up the mountains in search of drier ground. But not Sreten’s herd, no Sreten’s herd was remarkably undeterred by the soggy grazing grounds. Shelly reasoned that wet grass was just as good for you as dry grass and, well, nobody ever really argued with Shelly. Thus the herd stuck around, mowing down the damp turf around them. The greenery made for a stunning scene as Thistle and Pepper’s brilliant chestnut coats made a stark contrast with the emerald fields. CV | Sreten #137-2 | Springtime Shenanigans

Springtime brought with it warmer weather and higher spirits within Sreten’s herd. Their stocky grullo lead stallion, Sreten, was certainly feeling his oats in the springtime sun. He pranced to and fro, tossing his mane through the air. Two of his mares, Aspen and Sierra, kindly watched him show off and met him with friendly grins as they grazed peacefully side by side. Both mares were quite fond of their lead and enjoyed spending time with the stallion. But suddenly their enjoyment of Sreten’s antics was interrupted by two very pesky bachelors. The first of which was scrawny and looked to have some sort of fungal infection from the recent floods marring his coat. Sierra, a mare who was rather keen on hygiene, reeled back and fled from the offending young stud. Aspen quickly led Sierra away as the mangy bachelor’s partner attempted to steal them right out from under Sreten’s velvety nose. Oh, but Sreten would have none of this foolishness in his herd. [CV] Howl (85) - Brace for a Storm

“You call this a storm?” shouted Santiana, a wild light in her eyes matching the flashes of lightning. “Yes, I do!” Howl roared back, struggling to make himself heard over the monsoon. The Lead Stallion’s ears were pinned against his head, his blue eyes narrowed to tiny slits, as he unsteadily put one hoof in front of the other, being as careful as he could, leading the herd down the rocky slope. A nasty squall had taken them entirely be surprise, far away from any real shelter. Ordinarily, Howl would have the herd hunker down and wait out the worst of the rain and wind, but Shiver was heavily pregnant and had begun shakingly violently from the lashing wet and cold. Unwillingly to separate the herd in such dangerous weather meant he was taking them all to a dank overhang of rock in the shadow of the mountains. Even Fleetwood seemed to struggle, usually the most sure-footed of the mares, as she skidded and slipped her way down the treacherous embankment. Sorin stayed by her side

Howl snorted loudly, pushing the soot under his muzzle up in a gust of cloying black. He pulled his head up quickly, nose wrinkled in disgust. Tail twitching, he continued cautiously through the ruined forest. The trees were black and burnt, their bark cracked and slowly oozing out sap. Puffs of ash danced up under each of Howl’s hoof falls, settling back down once he was gone. The herd had seen the blaze from far off the night before. Orange and red flames licking up at the starry sky, the somber roar reaching their ears and keeping the foals awake. Jurassic Junicorn 29: Prehistoric Beasts for War

This refers to the concept of using prehistoric creatures (including dinosaurs) for warfare. All for messages, (mostly) mounts, pack animals, and artillery. That all varies depending on their size. Smaller animals like the Microraptor and Mesozoic birds could be used for messaging. The animals might have homing instincts. Medium sized animals like ceratopsians, extinct equines, hadrosaurs, and some larger carnivores would easily be used as mounts. The same applies to animals that are large enough to be ridden. Pack animals would pretty much mean animals are being released on enemy troops. And of course, large animals can be used as beasts of burden to carry supplies. Lastly, artillery applies to sauropods and prehistoric elephants and kin. Like regular war elephants, but on steroids. This can be a double edged sword as there's a chance of them turning on you. Other than that, you can easily create your own army of war beasts using these beasts. But be sure to look at their pros

The Armored Hippo is a species of hippo that lives in Prehistora on the planet. They are descended from common hippos that were released into Prehistora. And because of the namesake, their ancestors, developed armored skin like that of a rhinoceros to protect themselves from scratches and bites. They generally still behave like normal hippos but also do spend time in the shade due to their armored skin. They live in large herds up to 100s at a time. They mainly live in large rivers, lakes, swamps, and other watery environments. Though they had also ventured into some brackish water and saltwater habitats too. Armored hippos breed around the summer months. Females only produce one calf at a time. And they also eat many plants too, including grasses. They are dangerous too, with bulls being very territorial. A few predators can hunt them.
