ABOUT

Personality: Caspian is a bold leader, walking second to no horse. He moves confidently, assured in his position, and refuses to accept any rider but the most noble and fitting. If his rider is not equally assured in their leadership, he will refuse them in a spectacular show of dominance. 
Quirks: This horse likes things done a certain way. If you try to ask to much of him before he's warmed up and he is ready to begin, he'll throw a fit and buck his way across the arena. Another habit to watch for is his kicking. If a horse gets too close to him from behind, he'll kick without warning. It's advised you warn other riders or keep a ribbon in his tail.
Fears: No blankets for this guy! The straps running under him spooks him and he'll often rip a cross tie from the wall or bolt if you so much as try to put one on him. 
Unique Traits: It's been quickly learned that when it comes to combing his mane or tail, you'll need to be gentle. Tugging on them will earn you a sharp bite. Luckily, he comes up to his favorite riders in the pasture, allowing himself to be easily haltered. This will make up for the extra time it takes to groom him. 
Favorite Treat: Anything salty! Keep a salt lick in his stall or paddock. 
Training: If you aren't on the same page as Caspian, you'd better get there. Unless he understands what you're asking him, and wants to do it, you are going to spend your time fighting him, rather than getting any training done. You have to make him think it was his idea to do that thing he didn't want to do at the beginning of the lesson. If it was your idea, it wasn't good enough!
