Ultimately, it comes down to the reality that doing a webcomic is a pretty involved process, and when life gets more complex, cutting corners on the comic starts to happen if it's not one's main income source (and this one is basically a glorified hobby). I started this comic when I was single and worked a casual job and life's changed a lot since then. Heck, it changed a lot just during this chapter (I met someone, moved to a whole new province to live with him, had to get rid of half my possessions to get here and then slowly reacquire them on the other side, I went from part time (24 hours a week) to a full 40...). It turns out that it's shockingly hard to stay on-design when one's cramming a complex story and art into the tiny moments of spare time to fit a weekly deadline. And then just before all this chaos happened I made it a two-pages-a-week comic, too. Ha! Madness. Glad you're liking it regardless! That's exactly what makes this worthwhile.
Possibly! Possibly. Maybe she's been keeping tabs on him all this time
