I am many things but first and foremost, I am a father and husband. After that, I guess you can say I am a soldier. I have been one for over 18+ years now and I identify myself as one. The Army has taken me all over the world and I have deployed in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM twice and Operation ENDURING FREEDOM once. Other than that, I love a good book more than a good movie but it's a close call. I love good food and I love to cook. Most of all, I like stimulating conversation.

Days in the life of a soldier

I recently got into nature photography (Which may be evident to anyone who looks at my gallery). Unfortunately, while I am currently deployed to Basrah, Iraq, I can't find anything decent to shoot other than massive clouds of Malaria-carrying mosquitoes. Once I return to my home state of Washington, I plan on going out and shooting whatever I can with my Rebel :)
