For example, your team might find a posting by Sinclair asking any available hands to help spread fertilizer about the base of the Great Tree, and it would be up to you to depict how your team chooses to complete that task in your medium of choice! All tasks are optional, and there will be many to choose from each Chapter.
Your teams will receive tasks primarily from the four Guilds in Tabira. The Guilds each have a unique function within the city’s society, and each of them comes with a cast of NPC Guild members, who lead the Guilds and provide guidance to their prospective members.
Your team won’t be able to fully join any of the Guilds right away! They must slowly build the trust of each group by completing tasks and earning Reputation and raising their Rank with each Guild. Here is a summary of perks that can be obtained through building Reputation. It is not expected that any one team will be able to become a full member of every single guild, so feel free to specialize!
The four Guilds themselves are as follows:
The most prominent guild of the four. Their most important goal is to preserve Tabira’s institutions and traditions, whether by maintaining the health of the Great Tree which towers over the city, by upholding and enforcing the law, or by keeping records of its history and culture. Some of the Keepers also practice and preserve the mystical art of divination, using it to detect threats to Tabira’s way of life.

A guild of bold trailblazers and fearless fighters. Life in many places outside of Tabira is often rife with danger, a terrifying combination of ruthless bandit crews and powerful witches. Without the fighting force of the Trackers, the continent would be an even more dangerous place. Some of them ceaselessly train to fight with vigor and efficiency, some of them are dedicated scouts or mapmakers, and some of them work hard to train new recruits.

A guild of scientists, technicians, and thinkers. The Scholars dedicate their time, energy, and sometimes their very lives to the cause of innovation and discovery, whether in medicine, the steadily blossoming field of electric machinery, or the basic mysteries of their universe, such as how a Pokémon could learn a move they shouldn’t be able to learn. When Scholars are sent abroad, it is often for the purpose of study, or at least for its pursuit.

Last but not least, the Artisans are a guild of creators. Thanks to the Artisans, Tabira is not only a city of stability and culture, but a city of beauty as well, with architecture and design worth writing poems about. And, some of the Artisans really do write poems about it. Designers, painters, writers, journalists, musicians, dancers, and builders of all types are welcome among the Artisans’ ranks, and many more are, too.

Each of the Guilds has its own niche, and all of the Guilds work together to help Tabira continue to be a safe and fulfilling place for Pokémon to live. Therefore, none of them are exclusive! Feel free to complete as many or as few tasks as you wish.
