Description
The desire to fly is an idea handed down to us by our ancestors,
who, in their grueling travels across trackless lands in prehistoric times,
looked enviously on the birds soaring freely through space,
at full speed, above all obstacles, on the infinite highway of the air.
Wilbur Wright

The artist was lucky to capture such a site, the art of man flying as well as the art of nature itself. The bird and plane flying two different ways helps to show the difference between our species.
The title really captures the piece "The Power of Flight". It is fitting, as the power is much different for each species. For the humans, it just makes life simpler, faster, but for the birds it's life. They don't fly because they want to, they fly because they have to.
I personally would've tried to zoom in a little more, but I think that it is very good. The white around it to give it more of a picture feel really draws the attention to the black of the plane and the bird.
