When the Unseelie army occupied the Netherlands they had us erect a dozen mile high statues. They never told their slaves who these giants were supposed to depict. The lack of pointed and hairy ears or horns indicated that they must be mortals.
Later on it proved impossible to dismantle these statues because they were fashioned from adamant, a material seventeen times as hard as diamond.
Despite their solidity they tend to fade in the sky and you can see them nowadays only in the twilight or under sky completely devoid of airplane trails.
Some people even dismiss the whole occupation as false history or a three decades long hysterical hallucination.
When I went to Soutelande with Josje they were very much in evidence and even threw a shadow. Josje took a picture with her iPhone and they showed up clearly, nothing shadowy there. Anything that an iPhone can record must be more than half in our world.
