Hunting Collab with TealArcher rose and stretched, groping around the counter top for the alarm clock that was blaring in his ear. He shut it off and rolled out of bed and tugged on a set of fresh, clean clothes before heading out to the barn. Today he not only was going hunting with one of his fellow tribemates, but was playing babysitter again for a friend’s tokota while they were out for the day. Archer moved slowly over towards the stable, enjoying the feeling of the warm morning sun on him before he stepped into the darkness of the stable. He was met with a chorus of yips and whines as Jackdaw thrust his head through his door and tried to lick Archer’s face. Archer rubbed his head and grasped his halter before opening the door and leading the large black tokota into the center of the barn. Moving quickly, Archer brushed out his fur and tacked him up, putting on his saddle blanket and saddle before clipping the reins to his halter. With Jackdaw all set, Archer climbed up onto his back and rode
Taming Attempt 1-WF16Archer stretched, rising from his bed and moving across his room to put on a new set of clothes. He had planned to do some work with getting Czerno used to the water today, and if everything went well, then they might be able to go fishing later in the day. After changing, Archer walked over to the barn where his tokotas had been housed for the night, and walked over to Czerno’s stall. The large black tokota padded to the stall door, yawning widely as he got up from floor. Archer gripped Czerno’s halter and led him to the center of the bar, clipping it to the ties on the walls before walking into the tack room to get his supplies. He emerged with a set of brushes, which he used to comb through Czerno’s slightly tangled fur, much to his enjoyment before putting the brushes away and reemerging with a saddle and saddle pad. He slung the saddle pad over Czerno’s back, adjusting it until the saddle pad rested evenly over Czerno’s shoulders. Archer swung the sad
Collab-Bear Hunt with HiraArcher watched Tendaji put the bear onto Vemod’s back, offering a helping hand here and there despite the tokota’s grumblings. He agreed with Tendaji that they should look for other bears in the area, though they wouldn’t be able to take more than two, possibly three bears back if they were able to double up on one tokota. Archer noticed that Jackdaw was still somewhat agitated, despite the fact that they had already brought down the one bear they had noticed in the area. “Tendaji, I think Jackdaw smells something.” He said, noticing the black tokota as it began to drift off towards the left.
“I’m sure he’s just heard a squirrel.” Tendaji grumbled, in a bit of a sour mood as Vem attempted to nip her rear. “Oi!” She huffed, swatting the male’s nose in correction. “That’s rude!” She huffed, Minnie in the mean time following Jackdaw and leaving Tendaji to tell off the naughty piebald. Her ears perked
Yet Another Bear Hunt Collab with HiraArcher rode along on the back of Czerno with Jackdaw trotting beside them. It was a crisp, clear morning, and the sun was shining through gaps in the clouds. Czerno and Jackdaw were burning off some excess energy by chasing patches of sunlight through the grasslands, moving from one patch of golden grass to another, chasing the few rays of sunlight. While the sun didn’t exactly set anymore right now, it still gave the appearance of mid morning light despite the early hour. While struck with the urge to whistle a tune, Archer remained silent, knowing that his vocalizations would prompt Jackdaw into a song of yips and barks. As he glanced out over the landscape, he saw a familiar silhouette up ahead in the next patch of light. Jackdaw and Czerno sped up, racing towards the familiar tokotas as well as chasing the light. “Tendaji!” Archer called out, alerting the group ahead to his presence.
Tendaji, slumped and half asleep over Minnie’s saddle, would be startled aw
Bear Hunt Collab with WildHellHoundArcher rolled over in his bed, using a hand to swipe at the alarm clock, silencing it. He sat up in bed, scratching at his head as he looked around the room. Archer sighed, standing and walking towards his dresser, and pulled on a new set of clothes. He had a bear hunt planned with another tribe member, and it was his first time heading on a hunt with them, so he wanted to make a good impression and arrive at their house on time. Archer walked over to the barn and peeked into one of the stalls, and was met with a wide eyed blinking dark colored face. Akeri got to her feet and padded to the stall door, tail beginning to wag as she recognized her handler. “Hey girl.” Archer said, rubbing her on her nose before walking over to the stall next to hers. A dark shape shifted in the corner, and climbed to it’s feet and moved quietly over to the stall door. Jackdaw whined, tail wagging slightly as he stuck his head through the gap in the stall door, licking Archer’s face
Bear Hunt Hira CollabIt was an unearthly bright morning as Tendaji set off on Minerva with a rather bored expression as was the usual in the early hours of the day. Behind them trailed a half asleep long mane albino that was bumping into the poor van gogh in front of him whenever she slowed down and earning a light swat from the lioness in turn. Slipping between a few overgrown trees Tendaji could make out a house in the morning fog and a smile grew on her features. Once close enough to the door she slipped off Minerva’s back in time to hear the morning chirps of the birds themselves waking up.
Archer finished tightening the straps of Czerno’s saddle and patted his shoulder. He was still getting used to the new tokota, but Czerno seemed to be settling in well. He seemed to be playful and enjoyed chasing after sticks and balls, but it would be Archer’s first time taking him out on a hunt, and he didn’t quite know how Czerno would react. Jackdaw sniffed along the other tokota
