Ice Flow Race-Faction Brawl-Sif-
Lin really didn’t want to be here. It was cold. It was going to be very wet. Erica was whining and not in the least bit helpful, and Amyer was way too happy to be in this race (not that she knew that she was in a race right now, she had forgotten and was now just enjoying being on her back as she glanced around to smile at some of the other people around her, most of which were quite confused by her actions). Still, her eyes flickered up to the northern lights in the sky and she somehow found some will in her to finish this. Maybe if she won then she could be excused from ever having to do this again. Her eyes went forward again and she waited for the gunshot, already plotting out her path, only barely remembering to account for the other two tokos by her side who had been deemed her racing buddies, one pair from her faction and a pair of pack leaders. She liked neither of them. Thought honestly that probably had more to do with the fact that she was exhausted and didn
WF24 Taming 14Archer rolled out of bed, somewhat tired, but still eager to start the day. Once again, the weather was abnormally warm for this time of year, and as he popped his head out the front door to check the temperature, the air smelled of melting snow. Archer was extremely pleased by the past few days of warm weather, though he wondered how the wild animals were handling the uncharacteristic warm weather. His plans to track down Esmerelda and Moira in the morning were per usual, though he wondered how their hunting would be affected by the abundance of mud and melting snow, giving the landscape the appearance of late spring rather than halfway through December. Despite receiving a few new tokotas that probably should be taken out today, Archer wanted to bring Balan and Foxtrot out with him to go after Esmerelda and Moira for the sake of keeping familiar faces around.
Archer hummed as he tossed together a quick breakfast of eggs and leftover meat, putting the mixture into a pan that was place
WF24 Taming 13Archer hopped out of bed, eager to start the day. The temperature was still abnormally warm- above freezing, and he was eager to get out and chase after Esmerelda and Moira with Balan and Foxtrot. He poked his head out the front door, somewhat surprised to see the snow melting. The weather felt more like spring than the middle of December, and with the warm air blowing on his face smelling of melting snow and pine, Archer wasn't sure what to think. The sky was still dark, but Archer was extremely confused by the weather. Melting snow? In December? What was this world coming to? He sighed, shaking his head before heading back inside to make breakfast, knowing that he'd be spending his day with large, damp tokotas smelling of wet dog. He made breakfast and lunch for himself quickly, tossing his sandwiches for later that day into the saddle bags along with some of the special treats that he had purchased a couple of days ago. Archer was determined to try and bring Esmerelda back home with
WF24 Taming 12Archer rolled out of bed, eager to start the day- he had purchased a set of treats that he planned to use to try and coax Esmerelda to come back with him, and was eager to try them out. Archer had been slowly gaining her trust over the past couple of weeks, and he was excited about the possibility of bringing the wild tokota back with him. He wasn't sure what would happen with her companion, Moira, but he knew that such a gorgeous wild tokota like her wouldn't be without admirers, and most likely would be tamed soon. Archer walked into the kitchen and started up breakfast, cooking up a couple of the eggs that his hens had laid the day before while he worked on making himself a sandwich with some leftover meat and vegetables. He ate his meal quickly, leaving the dirty dishes for after he got back that afternoon. He paused to look out one of his windows into his dark yard, and was somewhat disappointed to not see Esmerelda and Moira, but he did see what he thought was a fresh set of trac
WF24 Taming 11Archer yawned and stretched, rolling out of bed as he turned off his alarm. Despite it being 0830 in the morning, the sky was just hinting at the upcoming dawn. Grumbling, Archer turned to the thermostat to see a pleasant surprise- the temperature was just below freezing again. He couldn't fathom why it was so warm for so late in the winter, but he was definitely enjoying the weather, as it helped him finish up some of his daily outdoor chores and finish up some of his longer projects. He had just finished expanding his barn once again, as the promise of new pups on the way as well as the purchase of two more tokotas had raised questions of how much space he would have open for them. He wanted to keep working on the final touch ups and a new coat of paint, but as he looked out the window of his bedroom he saw Esmerelda and Moira standing outside, staring at him. Archer froze, it wasn't often that he saw the two wild tokotas he had spent the previous week and odd days tracking down each
