Bear Hunt Collab with HiraArcher woke, feeling excessive warmth on his side. He rolled over, trying to escape the warmth, but was restrained by a sleeping bag. He sat up groggily, scratching the fur on the top of his head as he looked to the side of his sleeping bag. Tendaji had spent the night next to him, resulting in the excessive warmth that he had felt waking up. Archer grinned before tugging on his hoodie and leaving the warmth of the tent to check on the tokotas. The four of them were sleeping scattered around the edges of the tent, and Archer clicked his tongue at them, letting them know it was time to get up. Jackdaw immediately raised his head and focused on Archer before yawning, stretching his jaws open and shaking his head slightly. Archer rekindled the fire that had burned down to coals, feeding it fresh logs until flames lapped at the wood again. He rifled around in his saddle bags, looking for something to make breakfast with.
Tendaji shifted in the warm sleeping back, letting out a small grumbl
Collab with PinkLionArtArcher finished brushing down Akeri and put the saddle blanket and saddle on her back. His tokota huffed as he tightened the girth around her belly, but remained still as Archer picked stray pieces of fur from underneath the leather. Today was his designated day to travel into town and pick up supplies, which he did every two to three weeks, depending on how good the hunting was. Most of the food he and his tokotas caught went towards feeding the huge creatures with little left over for himself, so it was practically a full time job catching the prey, processing the carcasses, and getting the pelts ready for sale. Archer put the latest batch of hides onto Akeri’s back, making sure they were secured before climbing up onto her back and riding out of the stable. He had chosen the land he lived on to be away from the city so he and his tokotas would have space to roam, fish, and hunt, but close enough to the city so it wouldn’t be an obscenely long ride to get supplies. Exploring-Valdez, OlenThe sun had yet to rise and fill the sky with light and colour when the rather tired female rode along the forest track on the back of a golden tawny. The female trotting along happily with a half-asleep expression as well while they headed towards where her handler had been instructed. From what Tendaji had been able to make out from the vague ‘go here’ instructions that the small feline had given her she could make out a few tell-tale signs of life ranging from strange scents to the occasional remnants of what was once a tree. She breathed a sigh of relief as the house with the large barn came into sight, judging from the excited whines from inside she assumed this was the correct destination. She adjusted her jacket while slowly sliding off the back of the tall female before making her way to the door, seeming to be contemplating whether to give a few firm knocks or a few quick rasps of her knuckles against the wood. She decided shortly on a quick shave-and-a-hairc
