Mountain Lion Hunt 1Archer rose and stretched, getting up from his bed and moving over to his dresser to pick out some clean clothes for the long day ahead of him. He had risen early, and his plan for the day was to head over to a few of his friend’s houses to pick up their tokotas and go out on a long mountain lion hunt. The summer sun was just coming up from behind the mountains, beginning to warm the cool air as it slowly began it’s climb across the sky. Archer watched the fiery orb climb into the sky as he ate his breakfast, humming a quiet tune to himself. He finished his breakfast and quickly cleaned up his dishes, eager to get outside and get started.
Archer walked out to the barn, whistling as he approached. Barks, howls, and yips greeted him as he slid open the large door, and stared down the rows of tokota heads sticking out of their stalls. He looked over them, trying to figure out which ones he wanted to take with him, before walking up to Jackdaw’s stall. The large black mal
RoF-Zander, Kanel, KrasArcher saddled up Kras, double checking that he had all of his camping supplies with him before riding over to June and Kanel. The pair was already ready, so the two of them hung around, waiting for the last tokota and handler pair to show up. Finnyan had assured Archer and June that he’d meet up with them on time for the event, and as Archer looked over his shoulder, he saw the pair riding up. “Good morning! You all set with your gear?” Archer asked as one of the event coordinators walked up to them, greeting the group and giving them a set of directions to the first stone marker, and reminding them of their five day time limit. The group would be traveling three hundred and fifty miles north, following a series of stone monuments built by ancient peoples long ago, allowing them to follow an established north south trail. While the trail was mostly disused other than for the purpose of tokotas and hikers nowadays, the experience was definitely an exciting one. The ev
Mountain Lion hunt-Khazak, Nadia, Kryptonite, K, VArcher stretched and yawned, rolling out of bed as he hurriedly went through his morning routine, preparing for the long day ahead of him. He had plans to take a large group of tokotas out with him for a mountain lion hunt, and he had to pick up a few from their respective houses and owners before even thinking about heading out to the Manton cliffs to try and catch one. He had heard that the cliffs had been particularly active with the large felines recently, and had been curious to go over and check it out, since it would be his first time heading over there.
After finishing his breakfast, Archer walked out to the barn, glancing at his watch occasionally. He didn’t want to be late getting the other tokotas, and he figured that he might have a few problems getting a few of them. Archer walked into the barn, and the tokotas contained within began their usual chorus of yips, howls, and barks as he entered. He had to figure out which tokota he wanted to ride, as he knew that Khazak
