I hate Gaston but I have to adore how he is such a perfect believable villain since most of us have known a guy like that at some point. Most of my favourite villains (Lady Tremaine, Cruella deVil) are like that, proving that you don’t need magic potions or changing yourself into a dragon to be able to ruin someone’s life. Just selfishness is enough.
