The case against 'sin'
or: why the christian god is an asshole
Among the many things I have a problem with when it comes to christianity, the concept of “sin” stands out in particular. The mere idea that, while an omnipotent, omniscient, belevolent god supposedly created the entire universe with everything in it and has taken a special interest in us, anything bad, anything negative, anything evil is our fault by default is absolutely revolting to me.
As is the notion that a “sin” is anything that “goes against god’s nature”, as if the nature of a fictional, perfect supernatural entity was a good standard by which
