Book Therapy by LiterarySerenity, literature

Book Therapy
Exhausted from tribulations found around every corner
do you turn to books and their soothing but regular whisper of pages
for therapy provided through textual landscapes?
Is it enticing to follow trails of words like healing paths
meant to help the mind refocus on the here and now
through a stream of fresh perspectives
rather than the debris from daily routines?
Have you sheltered between pages
seeking out advice demonstrated by fictional souls
far removed from my circumstances and life
…and discovered the strength and wisdom
to push ahead in reality?
Or perhaps you simply prefer to wade among those deep texts
and watch their contents drift past as on a river
without the need to think of anything in particular?
The choice and ability to choose
why and how we delve into a book

AUTHOR’S NOTE — The Threshold
You made it to the end.
Not because it was loud.
Not because it was kind.
But because something in you recognized the weight being carried — even when no one named it.
STORMBOUND was not about what happened.
It was about what remained.
The quiet hum under the skin.
The exhaustion that didn't belong to either of them alone.
The instinct to reach — and the discipline not to.
What comes next is different.
The STORM RISING does not rush.
It does not announce itself.
It does not ask permission.
It tightens slowly.
It presses where silence used to be enough.
It asks what happens when distance stops protecting anyone.
Emotions will deepen.
Boundaries will blur — not violently, but inevitably.
And some moments may feel uncomfortably familiar before they make sense.
That's normal.
You were never meant to read this arc untouched.
Take a breath.
The story has already started.
