Waking SleepI. Today, walking down the stairs to the main floor of the school, I got this overwhelming feeling that you were there. I could feel it in my entire being, physically and mentally, that sort of dull pounding in my head that blocks out coherent thought. Except stronger.
Not the type of feeling you get when you think about somebody. The kind of feeling that you get when there is somebody there, looking at you, being so close to you that you could take two steps and touch him.
And I thought for one terrifying second that I was about to fall asleep. Ten feet from my English class, three steps from the second floor, I thought that I was going to pass out cold.
When I didn't, it was undeniably more horrifying.
